Red's Comment: A new profile work, this time covering the wrestler/luchadora Yatzil Nayeli Cabrera Ortiz, or Yatzil Cabrera for short. When doing my cast of characters there was always an idea to have a wrestler character in since i also like lucha libre and wrestling. At first Yatzil's concept was going to be an evil partner to Catherine while Catherine was going to be a good woman wrestler superheroine, but as you can see the roles have switched for both characters. You might be asking why the sudden change to Yatzil's look, since in her debut she had another outfit and specially a different luchador mask. The answer to that was that i was not truly happy for the bunny hoods, since the are little bit of info that would relate a bunny to mexico's history (there was one, but is not an interesting one), so the mask had to change completely to a more traditional mexican luchador mask, which it's colors represent the mexican flag (green, white and red). One little joke i did with this character is her name, as in her full name, most people know that on full names is always the name and last name, well in Mexico is kinda normal for people to have two names and for their full name to have both parents last names, which as you can see is a long full name. Yatzil means in mayan: loved child. Her theme song was one of the most difficult to fit her, you probably would suggest T.Hawk's them from SFII but really i choose this one from guacamelee since is a bit more active and the instruments the used is very mexican.
